Frans Masereel Centrum asked us to design a book in honor of their fortieth birthday. Salome Schmuki and Dear Reader, dived into the archives and digitalized a large part of the text and image material found there. In collaboration with Frans Masereel Centrum, we decided to fit the content of the book into a timeline of 40 years that would make visible the evolution in activities of the center, before and now. We designed a two column grid system for a large book size in which we arranged the varied text and image material. The book was never published, but we are still happy with the design.
